Obama Delays lower prices on Obamacare

ImageTyro-

Obama once again delayed lowering the prices on affordable health care. His excuse was that he wanted it to run more smoothly. He’s also rewriting the law for healthcare so the things he was saying probably wont be true. “Once again, the President is giving a break to corporations, while individuals and families are still stuck under the mandates of his health care law. And, once again, the President is rewriting law on a whim,” House Speaker John Boehner said.

Obama doesn’t ever really lower prices when he says he does, and a lot of republicans are getting angry over it. The democrats say that he’s just trying his best and he needs more time to figure prices out and then he will make it a law. They say if he’s going to put something out in public and then take it back then he just needs to wait until he’s ready. Republicans said that they weren’t surprised that he delayed the lower prices.

“He’s rewriting laws” Republican Cathy McMorris said “that its just another way to tell the laws aren’t working and he needs to fix it if their that bad.”  Cantor, the No. 2 House Republican said ” He purposely puts off Obama care to put more negative comments on himself.” Plus the government isn’t working for him so he should try and fix that as well.

A couple of solutions for him is to either do what he says he’s going to do or just not let the public know what he’s thinking about doing. It would make him get less hate than he does right now, and it would give him a chance to figure everything out before he makes it public.

Tyro-

Demi Lovato has a has a hard life from being bullied when she was little to her eating disorder, cutting, and drug and alcohol addiction. Demi never thought that she could get through the things she did. She went in to treatment to get help, she didn’t like being there. Demi found out there that she was bipolar and anorexia, depressed.

When Demi got out of treatment she wrote a  song named Skyscraper, this song is about her struggles and how she wants to stand high and not let people get her down. This song brought her to the top, fans started to realize what she had went through so they had someone to look up to. Before demi went into treatment she didn’t want to be a “role model”, she resented it. She said ” I don’t see why girls look up to me I’m nothing special.” She didn’t realize how much she meant to fans at that point. Demi has came along way from where she was at. Also when she got out of treatment she got “Stay Strong” tattooed on her wrist so whenever she was feeling down and she had the urge to self harm she saw that on her wrists.

Demi has to deal with all of her issues she has and one way to deal with it is to take medication. “It’s a daily thing, I treat it with medication. Not everybody does that, but for me it works.” Demi says. She has came along way to where she was, she is so proud of her weight and her beauty. Demi said ” I did gain weight, but you know what it’s okay because I’m healthy and proud.” Demi is now touring and also spreading the word about her story and how she wants to stop bullying. In the middle of all her work with touring and being on the X Factor she some how found a way to write a book. The book she wrote has a quote for each day of the year and what it means to her. She says it’s a morning meditation she does to prepare her self for the day ahead.

Even though demi was getting better she was also hiding a big secret. She still was addicted to drugs, she said “I would sneak it on the planes and do it while I was sitting there or I would go to the bathroom.” Her manager and her mother and step father saw what was going on and threatened Demi to take her little sister and go back to Texas. Demi knew she had to stop because her little sister meant the world to her. One other thing that means the world to demi is her fans, she says that there what kept her strong. Demi loves her fans more than anything “their the ones that got me to where I am know.”

ImageNorth Carolina-

North Carolina got hit some with some bad weather through the week, there was flooding, hail, winds up to 100 miles per hour. The tornado was 200 yards wide and traveled 1.6 miles. It touched down around 7 p.m. Although it caused a lot of damage it didn’t cause a lot of deaths.

Thousands of people  were without power in the South, tornadoes destroyed homes and businesses late Monday. At least 17 people were killed in Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee on Monday. Those deaths are added into 18 others reported in Arkansas, Oklahoma and Iowa from storms Sunday. A 11 month-old baby died on Sunday because of the tornado. A reporter talked to the family and the reporter said “It breaks my heart. It broke my heart to see the house,” McCrory said. “And I understand the mother did everything she could to protect the baby.” Sadly everything couldn’t help the babies injuries.

People heard about them being trapped in the house that’s how they knew where they were, and when they found them they were under the rubble of their own home. The 11 month old was from Chowan County in the northeastern part of the state. His death was the first tornado-related death since Dec. 21, 2013. The mother was protecting him with all she could but his injuries were to great to try to save him.

The tornado that hit Arkansas was a half mile wide and it left a 80 mile disaster zone. With the tornado going at rapid speeds there were 17 deaths on Sunday and 15 in Arkansas. The most people that died in Arkansas were 3,800 people. Rescue squads are now looking for people who survived the tornado.  People say this is one of the worsts storms we’ve had since 2011.

Damaging winds, large hail were all part of the tornado and probably the worst part of it. The winds got over 200 miles per hour, the wind was strong enough to knock down trees and to crash power lines. The winds blew cars around like the were leaves and threw trucks across the interstate like they were bouncy balls. The power went out for at least  100,000 people. “We don’t have a count on injuries or missing. We’re trying to get a handle on the missing part,” Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe said at a news conference. “Just looking at the damage, this may be one of the strongest we have seen.”

The tornado touched down around 7 p.m. and last a couple hours. This tornado destroyed a hole neighborhood except for 5 house that were lucky enough to survive the destruction. Over all 60-70 houses were destroyed during the tornado, all these families are left with out homes and are scrounging through the ruble to see if there’s anything left of their homes. Search dogs are going through to see if there is anyone to find, also people from everywhere are coming to see what they can do to help.

It’s a time with bright color’s and fun relaxing time. Everyone gets excited for being let out of school for the summer. The spring and summer fashion is basically the same, it has to do with bright and fun colors. Its when a lot of people go to the beach or go on cruises.

Most girls love to pick out dresses and wardrobe for the spring and the summer, so spring is when you see a lot of girls and guys wear a lot of shorts and dresses. Not to mention a lot of the spring fashion is bright and fun. Its light and pretty, you also see a lot of cute earrings that are big and colorful and just a kind of hip style to it. You also see flip flops and a lot of them, when it starts to get warmer no one really wants to wear sneaker’s anymore so they go out and buy flip flops. Spring fashion is defiantly one of the most up beat and outgoing fashion season there is.
